about me

I live in
San Francisco, California.

I work in
Technology.

I play
in things that let me create, or as it happens, be creative.

As a Writer

My goal is to tell stories based on what society is like now. This generation has seen so much change and we’re in this adolescent stage of globalization. Our ability to poke and prod our ways into other cultures and society has such a unique effect. From hospitality to tourism to even hostility, we in an era that we as travelers haven’t settled on what is normal or even want to believe there’s such a thing. Sometime we feel foreign in our own land after learning the views of people outside our doorsteps. I think these are the things we should chronicle in our writing in both fiction and non-fiction.

As a Filmmaker

I like to think of myself as a student. More so because I’ve only started looking into this medium in 2009. That’s not too long ago, plus, being out of school, it’s hard to find the time to really look into the history of films and my favorite, their cinematography. However, I don’t think that should be an issue. It shouldn’t be an issue for anyone in that matter. What we consider film or video clips are becoming interchangeable with the growing number of free or easily available technology. And with the advent of the social web, the creative outlet is endless. We are just starting to see how much creativity there is out in the world. Let’s get behind the wave and see what goodies have settled in.

As a Photographer

I have to say, I really like composition and subject matter. I wish I could be more of an expert to making things crisper and more eye opening as a magazine cover, but that’s not always why I snap a picture or even think why I think something looks good. Just make sure you got the camera ready at hand to capture that moment and hope one day there’s a perfect iA setting for all. And yes, I do use it often because I believe in the engineers who spent their lives trying to perfect the one stop solution for us imperfect photographers. C’mon, I am an engineer too you know.
