Teuchi-Soba Namiichi
A small soba shop that felt easy to miss if you were not looking for it, but worth slowing down for once you found it. It was a great spot when I wanted something on the lighter side, a break from heavier meals without feeling like I was compromising on flavor.
The soba was the highlight, clean and well balanced, but the duck breast in the soup added a richness that pushed it into something more filling than expected. It struck a nice balance overall. The pickled radish brought a sharp contrast, and the poached egg, even though I did not capture it in photos, rounded everything out in a way that made the meal feel complete.
The atmosphere was simple and focused. Seating was limited, with a quiet, almost understated setup that kept the attention on the food. Service was efficient and to the point, but still warm in a way that made it comfortable to settle in for a bit. It was the kind of place where you ate, appreciated the craft, and moved on, but it stayed with you after.

I would seek this place out next time I’m back.

This was all I needed for a meal. Warm soba noodles with a small rice bowl for lunch. Refueled and ready to head back out on the streets to explore.
