Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki
I met up with my friend after work and we were in search of something good, no… something great, something posh. It was a tough week at work and being two people who can appreciate a good meal and atmosphere that comes with it, this was the place to try.

Went with the most expensive option but well worth the experience. Cuts of wagyu from head to tail married with classic ingredients. 10 courses and I was quite full by the end. I’ll need to eat light to recoup the costs but not regretting it at all.

I have to be honest, when I saw braised, I just thought of something simple. Then they brought out this dish with the egg and truffle to compliment the braised meat. I was in heaven.

Not the type of noodle closer that’s going to put you over. It’s just enough to close out the meal while leaving room for dessert.

Such delicious cuts meat. I forgot what the specific cuts were, but they were prepared very well. I know it’s not that much but at this point I was getting pretty full.

So this is what they considered deep fried… lightly battered and crispy breaded meat in sando form. No complaints here!

What you’re imagining it should taste like is exactly right. It tasted amazing. Tartare beef, charred fish, uni, and caviar. This was such a great start.

You probably want to say this isn’t sushi. There’s sushi rice and eel under that beef, so the title isn’t wrong.
